As a working professional, I began my journey in photography in 1984 during my media studies. Although my career progressed into business management and consulting, photography has remained an interest and has evolved into a passion. My focus is on the challenge of creating images that convey emotion through both the subjects and their environment.

My experiences in Africa have greatly enhanced my appreciation for places where wildlife thrives.

The technical aspects of photography present their own challenges as equipment advances and opportunities for learning expand. Nonetheless, I recognise that equipment is only one part; photographic skill requires an understanding of light and composition.

As a Nikon user, all images in my gallery are captured mainly using a Nikon Z8 mirrorless camera, accompanied by a selection of Nikon Z lenses.

Images are taken full frame in RAW with processing in Lightroom.
